Our investment in marketing and advertising across various commercial industries is aimed at attracting high-value clients seeking pilot services, which constitutes our customer acquisition costs. Additionally, we have invested in the development of our website, project/billing management systems, and other business expenses.
If you have experience flying for other companies, you may be aware of their practice of paying pilots significantly less than what they charge clients for their services. For instance, some platforms are notorious for offering a meager payout of $100-$150 for a roof inspection, while clients may be paying $300-$500 for the same service. This lack of transparency can leave pilots uncertain about the true value of their work.
In contrast, our platform offers complete transparency, allowing pilots to bid directly on client projects and paying a 20% platform fee. Considering the benefits of transparency, including knowing the actual value of the work being done, our platform’s fees are quite reasonable.
You can negotiate project requirements, agreement terms, and pricing directly with SkyDance clients. Once both parties agree, we handle the financial transaction through an escrow account. Upon completion of the project and mutual sign-off, we process the payment within 24-48 hours and pay you promptly.
