Former NASA Administrator Joins D-Fend Solutions Advisory Board
In 2009, President Barack Obama appointed Bolden to be the 12th NASA Administrator, making him only the second astronaut to hold that position. He has spoken of how safety was the top priority during his extensive career. His addition and guidance to protecting sensitive airspaces with D-Fend will catapult the company’s abilities and offerings.
This addition comes after a previously announced impressive addition of former head of FAA Michael Huerta to D-Fend’s board last year. With his guidance, the company has recently announced successful C-UAS deployments including safeguarding the Pope from a rogue drone during mass and protecting world leaders at the G7 Summit.
